Kevin has over 15 years experience in the field of software development, system integration, and system architecture. His work has been in both the private and public sectors with companies AAEC/Titan, Neural Networks/CardSystems, Riverbed Technologies/Aether Systems, Q.Know, and IntegrityOne Partners.
He has worked with a broad range of technology, from embedded systems to Cray supercomputers and developed software in a number of different disciplines including: high performance numerical analysis for antenna design, decision support software for credit card dispute processing, 3-D rendering of object geometries, data sychronization of enterprise data, and document management.
Prior to joining Reality Mobile, Kevin spent a year at U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency providing architectural guidance for ICE's effort to share data across agencies. During this time, Kevin helped to design and develop ICE's first web service, which securely shared apprehension data using the Global Justice XML Data Model (GJXDM). This service has successfully been used by the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agency to identify subjects with prior records.
In the handheld computing space, Kevin has worked extensively with PalmOS. While at Aether Systems, he developed a C++ framework to expedite PalmOS application development that was utilized by three departments. In addition, he managed a professional services staff responsible for creating custom solutions to allow handheld devices to integrate with the enterprise. More recently, Kevin led the development team at Q.Know for work on commercial software targeting information management in the reinsurance industry.
