Earlier today we announced that we’ve been awarded a subcontract from SAIC® to implement our RealityVision® mobile collaboration platform for the Port of Los Angeles (POLA) Police Department.

In the time-honored New Year’s Day tradition, huge crowds gathered in Pasadena, CA for the 121st Tournament of Roses Parade and the 96th Rose Bowl Game. Ohio State fans were jubilant as their Buckeyes defeat the Oregon Ducks, 26-17.

Reality Mobile is pleased to announce two key additions to its management team.  Robert (Bob) Blair is joining us as CFO and Senior Vice President, Operations and Mike Odell is our new Vice President, Global Energy Markets.  Both have rich backgrounds in technology and we are very excited to have them on board.

We are very pleased to welcome Chevron Technology Ventures, the Dobson Partnership and Energy Ventures as investors and strategic partners in our business. Together, they have invested $6.5 million to help us accelerate the delivery of our enterprise-class RealityVision platform to global enterprises and government organizations requiring instant mobile collaboration capabilities.

April 20, 2009 was a huge day on the product front at Reality Mobile. We announced a major version update to RealityVision, our flagship platform (press release).

People often ask us about the company’s history.  A few of us started the company in late 2003-early 2004.  In the beginning we were focused on offering consulting services in our core area of expertise: mobile communications.  Our co-founder and chief scientist Dave Rensin is an industry expert and has won multiple awards for technological innovations.
