RealityVision 3.1 focuses on the field user. RealityVision 3.1 includes support for iPhones® and iPads®; richer user context for video sources; tighter correlation among video sources, user input and location information; the addition of playback controls; as well as extended opportunities for user inputs and user access to personal archived feeds.
Highlights of RealityVision 3.1 include:
- Support for Apple® iPhone 4, iPad and iPad 2. The RealityVision iPhone 4, iPad and iPad2 Client can be downloaded through the App Store by searching for “RealityVision”. Please note: the installation file is the same for both the iPhone 4 and the iPad applications.
- Context When Watching Video. While watching any video feed, Android® and iOS users can view the feed’s location on an interactive map and can comment on live or archived feeds from other users. These comments are stored on the server and included in searches of archived video. Additionally, playback controls have been implemented on the Android and iOS platforms, allowing a user to navigate forward and backward in time when watching feeds stored on the RealityVision server and to pause in order to add a comment to a specific frame or to the video session.
- New Ways to Find Video. Android and iOS users have an improved way to find video feeds, including access to review any video feeds they have streamed.
