Video Creation

User-Initiated Streams

With the push of a single button, a user can immediately stream live or prerecorded video feeds from virtually any camera source, including:

  • Supported cell phone cameras
  • Handheld camcorders
  • Telephoto cameras
  • Any other video source that you can plug into a TV
Screencasts Define any region of a PC screen and stream its contents as a live video source.
Network Cameras Select any of your fixed or mobile network cameras to be viewed by your users. The system supports the use of multiple video formats and camera types.
Video Archive Incoming user video streams are tagged with available GPS coordinates and stored on a frame-by-frame basis for easy retrieval, display, analysis and redistribution.

Dynamic Command and Control

Video Availability Using a cell phone or a PC, any user can independently access any available video source—any user-initiated stream, screencast or camera feed.
Video Push The console operator can remotely cause any user device to display any available live or archived video source in a hands-free manner for the user.
Data Delivery

Other critical information can be delivered remotely and automatically to user devices as well, including:

  • Text messages
  • Still photos or images
  • PDFs and other document formats
  • Maps and schematics
User History At any time, a user can access a personal history log to independently retrieve any video stream or other data file sent previously to that user by a console operator. A police officer, for example, can instantly retrieve a suspect’s photo or a commercial employee can instantly retrieve a building schematic sent days or weeks before.
PTZ Camera Control Any authorized user can remotely control the available pan-tilt-zoom controls on any network camera.
Alert Feature

A user can push a single button to send a silent alert to the console operator.  Depending on the user’s device, initiating the alert will automatically cause the device to:

  • Stream live video from the scene
  • Send its GPS coordinates for immediate tracking
  • Initiate a phone call to a predefined phone number
Controlling User Devices

The console operator can remotely compel a user’s device to take a specified action to convey urgent information, such as

  • Turning the device camera on or off to control incoming video streams
  • Forcing the device to call any phone number, including a conference bridge, in order to establish immediate verbal communications among users

GPS Tracking

Track Your Personnel Easily pinpoint the exact GPS location of your field personnel and track their ongoing movements in real-time.
Track Your Video Sources Easily pinpoint the exact GPS location of each video source, allowing you to know where the sources are in relation to each other, to your personnel and to unfolding events.
Common Operating Picture

The management console includes a dynamic mapping display to visualize all the tracked personnel and video sources. Choose one of these out-of-the box options or create your own customized display:

  • Microsoft Virtual Earth
  • Google Earth
  • Google Maps

Each live or archived video source can also be viewed alongside its own location map showing its precise origin for better context.

Ease of Use
