When a critical event happens in the field, every second counts.
Our RealityVision software platform streamlines the communications process between field personnel, office staff and senior management. If you can see it on your PC screen or with your own eyes in the field, you can share it securely and instantly with everyone who needs to see it. No important data is off limits.
Our platform requires no special infrastructure. All RealityVision software components run securely on commercially available hardware and our software functions on every available commercial network, including cellular, WiFi and satellite networks. Installation and configuration are simple. In fact, you can be up and running in just a few hours.
Here’s what’s involved and how these components can work together:
Create a private channel for your authorized users. The RealityVision® server software is the system hub. It is installed inside your firewall and creates a private communication channel for your users. Out of the box, all communications to and from the server (including live video streams) are secured with user authentication and high-level SSL encryption. The system even works within your existing VPN framework, including FIPS 140-2 compliant VPN solutions.
Stand in the shoes of your team on the ground and see what they see.The system includes two user components for maximum flexibility. RealityVision® Mobile runs on a wide variety of Windows Mobile and Blackberry devices. (Stay tuned for news on iPhone support.) RealityVision® PC runs on your Windows-based computers. Depending on the device, your authorized users can:
Create a shared perspective without uttering a single word. The RealityVision® management console allows you to visualize, monitor and control all the data traffic within the system. Install it on a PC or laptop and choose your preferred mapping environment from a variety of options, including Microsoft Bing Maps, Google Earth and Google Maps. (Or, forgo our console entirely and integrate its functionality into your existing command structure.) Through our console functionality, you can:
Let your dispersed users sit at your chair and see what you see.RealityVision® Screencast™ runs separately on your organization’s computers and allows you to stream any portion of a computer screen to anyone in your RealityVision network. Multiple Screencast selection boxes can be created and repositioned on a single manned or unmanned PC screen. Each selection box is a window that captures and streams whatever is inside it—text, images, video feeds, sensor readings, schematics and other critical operational details. This information can be viewed on other computers or mobile devices in real-time.
Eliminate the telephone game.In the traditional security setup, an organization’s network camera feeds are streamed to an operations center, which then relays verbal descriptions of the feeds to field teams. With RealityVision, you can send any network camera feed directly to your users. The system supports the use of multiple video formats and camera types.
