Reality Mobile Announces Key Hires, Continues to Expand Oil & Gas Footprint

Reality Mobile is pleased to announce two key additions to its management team.  Robert (Bob) Blair is joining us as CFO and Senior Vice President, Operations and Mike Odell is our new Vice President, Global Energy Markets.  Both have rich backgrounds in technology and we are very excited to have them on board.

Bob Blair, former CFO of SkyBitz, Inc., has over 20 years of finance and operational experience working with a diverse group of private software companies, including Anystream, Inc., Current Analysis, Inc., and Visual Networks, Inc. He will work from our corporate headquarters in Herndon, VA., and is tasked with implementing new fiscal processes that will help us scale our business as we expand and seize opportunities in new industries and markets.  Concurrent with our recent venture funding, Bob’s addition to the management team will greatly assist us in continuing to implement the infrastructure necessary to execute our strategy.

Bob had the following to say on his new position, “I am thrilled to join the Reality Mobile team. Our solution has applicability in a variety of market segments across multiple geographies. The customer centric focus of the entire team has resulted in a world class platform with clearly demonstrable ROI for our customer base.”

Mike Odell, former president and CEO of Geomodeling Technology Corporation, is responsible for introducing Reality Mobile to the energy sector and increasing our visibility.  Mike is currently launching our new Houston office and building a team with the unique expertise required in oil and gas. Our goal is to capitalize on Houston’s prime energy industry location and Mike’s experience to create new opportunities for Reality Mobile’s technology.

“I am very excited about joining the Reality Mobile team.” Mike said.  “Reality Mobile’s unique solutions stand to provide a tremendous advantage to oil and gas companies operating around the world in increasingly challenging and hostile environments.  Houston is an ideal location for serving this industry and the team we are building here has extensive experience in the energy sector, as well as a global network that I know will bring us success.”

We couldn’t be happier with our success to date and are looking forward to conquering the challenges of new industries and regions of the country next year. David Kramer, our President and CEO, has this to say about our recent hires:

“Specifically in energy, companies are exploring, producing and transporting oil and gas in more remote locations than ever before. They are also facing a shortage of qualified people to staff each field, forcing them to seek out digital solutions to formerly analog tasks. Success in today’s digital oilfield requires the ability to instantly share critical video and data among technical experts and across vast geographies. Reality Mobile promises to do just that, allowing energy companies to collaborate and solve problems more effectively, reduce downtime and ensure employee safety. These are just a few reasons why we are making critical hires and establishing an office in Houston.”
