Reality Mobile Announces First Patent Award

HERNDON, Va. – (Jan. 5, 2011) – Reality Mobile®, a  technology company delivering enterprise-class real-time mobile video collaboration solutions, today announced that it has been granted U.S. Patent No. 7,860,994 by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

The patented technology relates to mobile-to-mobile visualization of streaming video and other data along with location-based information.  It builds on Reality Mobile’s software portfolio, which addresses mission critical mobile video and data visualization and collaboration needs of large enterprises, governments and technology OEMs.  The technology has been a core component of the company’s RealityVision® enterprise mobile collaboration software platform from its inception.  It will also give much greater context to consumers in being able to visualize live video feeds and the originating location information in different ways on smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices.
